3. Corporate Aircraft Constraints

Request to land in or operate between points in Saudi Arabia are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Justification provided by Saudi firms or government entity sponsoring visits, is a deciding factor. Also, aircraft enroute to/from or manufactured in Israel cannot overfly or land in Saudi Arabia.

4. Special Notices

     1. Israeli aircraft or Israeli-made aircraft and any other foreign aircraft heading for or departing from Israel, are not permitted to overfly or land in Saudi territory.

     2. Aircraft flying over Saudi Arabian territory without prior permission and/or flying outside the designated air corridors will be intercepted and forced to land.

     3. Flight-line transportation is available for general aviation aircraft. It can be arranged through ARABASCO Terminal (Telephone: 685-5350; Telex: 604119 ASCO SJ). Operators must arrange their own services; ATCT will not accept requirements for fuel, catering, flight plan clearances, etc., operators or agents must arrange this. Passenger manifests are to be submitted to executive office for flight-line clearance. General declarations are required upon departure. Foreign civil aircraft will be granted permission to land at a single airport. They will not have the privilege to operate at other airports after their arrival in the Kingdom.

     4. No aircraft departing from airports in Israel will be allowed to service, refuel or land at any airport within the territory of Saudi Arabia, nor will aircraft be cleared from any airport in Saudi Arabia to any airport in Israel. This restriction also applied to aircraft wishing to overfly Saudi territory to or from airports in Israel.
