Beginning in June 2010, the SASO Program Office published the "Grow Your Knowledge" (GYK) e-Newsletter series to help prepare the AFS workforce for the implementation of the AFS Safety Assurance System (SAS).
Each issue contained a "mini-lesson" to expand readers’ understanding of important SAS concepts, terms, and features.
SAS is an evolving program with on-going developments. Some early newsletters contain dated material or information that was later revised and improved. Some older newsletters contain links to a few obsolete documents that were not maintained and the links no longer work.
If you have questions about the SAS, please contact the SASO Program Office. As you read through previous issues of GYK, if any terms are unfamiliar refer to the SAS Glossary (PDF).
