Overview

The FAA Safety Center delivers outstanding presentations in an unforgettable surrounding. Presentations cover a variety of topics including:

  • Acrobatics
  • Helicopters
  • Seaplanes
  • Ultralights
  • Balloons
  • Search & Rescue
  • Experimental aircraft
  • Corporate operations
  • Air Carrier operations

The safety center is also a working studio, with an assortment of recording and lighting equipment. Most presentations are recorded, and the audience becomes part of a widely disseminated safety presentation. The facility provides live and taped broadcast programs for the Aviation Training Network, the Government Educational Training Network, and the Florida Aviation Network.

Anyone may participate, including industry groups, organizations, and individuals. Seminars usually run from 9 a.m. until about 3 p.m. Because of the popularity of many of the seminars, arrive early, as seating is limited.

For more information, call Obie S. Young, Safety Program Manager, Orlando FSDO, (407) 812-7706.
