Rochester FSDO - Directions

Driving directions:

The Rochester FSDO is located adjacent to the Greater Rochester International Airport on Airport Way.

Note: You must have an appointment and present a photo ID in order to be permitted entrance into the Rochester FSDO.

From the West

  1. Take the NYS Thruway (I-90) east and get off at Exit 47 (Route 490/Leroy).
  2. Take Route 490 east to Exit 6 and follow the signs to the airport.

From the East

  1. Take the NYS Thruway (I-90) west and get off at Exit 46 (Route 390/Rochester).
  2. Take Route 390 north to Exit 18B and follow the signs to the airport.

From the South

  1. Take Route 390 north to Exit 18B and follow the signs to the airport.

Once you've found the airport, turn right onto Airport Way, the street just before you reach the terminal. Our office is located on the first floor of the three-story USAirports building marked with the time and temperature.

Flying in? - You'll need to know the following:

When you land at the Greater Rochester International Airport [ROC], notify ground control that you will be visiting the FAA Flight Standards office and need to be directed to parking at USAirports on the west ramp.

If you're flying in from Canada, be sure to allow time for clearing U.S. Customs!
