The San Francisco IFO services the states of Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Japan, Korea, Kiribati, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Philippines, Tahiti, Tonga Islands, Taiwan, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Western Samoa. As well as all other territories and international over-water air space described as the Asia-Pacific Area. The service area does not include areas described as the responsibility of the Honolulu FSDO and the Singapore IFO.
