New England Region

The Regional Counsel's Office acts as legal counsel for matters in the New England Region. As part of the FAA’s Chief Counsel’s organization, the office represents the FAA in regulatory enforcement actions , and in personnel matters. The Regional Counsel also provides advice to all operating lines of business on a wide range of issues such as environmental concerns, government contracts, real estate acquisitions, ethical standards for government employees, access to government records, operational and maintenance rules, airspace designations, and airworthiness directives and certification standards for aircraft engines, propellers, and auxiliary power units.
