Conditions of Employment: Appointees must initially serve under a temporary appointment not limited to 60 days or less. After successful performance of such a temporary appointment, FAA may convert the employee to a permanent position. However, there is no requirement that a conversion to a permanent position be made within 60 days.
Documentation Required: Submit, with the application, a DD 214, Certificate of Discharge indicating disability rating or documentation from VA or a Branch of the Armed Forces indicating the disability rating.
