IT Enterprise Services - Process Improvement

The Office of IT Enterprise Services (AES) evaluates, recommends, integrates, supports and advocates the use of standards-based best practices to improve FAA business processes in ways that add measurable value to the FAA and its mission.

FAA organizations are using various standards, models, and approaches to improve their processes to meet their business needs and to address external requirements.    AES provides services to help them address these needs efficiently and effectively.

AES customers include executives, managers, and practitioners from all staff offices and lines of business who all have a role to play in improving FAA enterprise performance.

AES services include training/workshops, support/consulting, reviews, audits/appraisals, trainer and appraiser authorization, studies and analyses, evaluations/recommendations, and business process design, implementation and improvement facilitation.

Standards and models supported include:  CMMI, DO178, DO278, iCMM, ITIL, ITIM, ISO/IEC 15504, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 20000.

Note that this site is in progress and will be updated with additional guidance papers, documents, etc. so watch for upcoming upgrades.
