Program Overview

The FAA Office IT Optimization began in 2007. The idea for the Office of IT Optimization was first conceived during former Administrator Marion Blakey�s tenure. Plans were laid to create an entity that would oversee an agency-wide consolidation of information technology applications and initiatives to make the organization more efficient.
