Enterprise Architecture (EA) guides and focuses the strategic decisions for the enterprise, especially those related to information technology investments. The EA Program enables the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to proactively plan application sequencing; avoid overlapping development; reduce costs; better align IT investments to the business; facilitate communication between the Office of Information Services and Chief Information Officer and lines of business, and improve security, interoperability, and data quality.
The FAA EA is composed of multiple components that together make up the FAA EA. The NAS EA is the component that provides information about the National Airspace System. The primary focus of these web pages is the Enterprise Architecture for Regulatory Support and Administrative (RS&A) Systems that includes FAA regulatory support and administrative systems for all FAA lines of business and staff offices.
