Keith J. Moore will serve as Acting Deputy Regional Administrator for Southwest Region commencing January 5, 2014. Keith serves as the Central Logistics Service Area (CLSA) Manager. In this position he is responsible for the overall health of the Logistics Division which is comprised of Real Estate/Utilities Group and the Materiel and Property Group. He directs, manages and coordinates the Logistics functions and leads in customer service. He oversees these disciplines in 3 locations; Fort Worth, Kansas City and Chicago; which makes him responsible for more than 50 employees. He is sought after for his assistance with Regional Administrators and Headquarters Management Teams on special projects.
Keith's goal for the CLSA is superior customer service, employee gratification and targeted goals met. He strives and teaches customer service as a priority for the organization. His desire is for the CLSA to be the go-to organization for both internal and external customers.
Keith has over 30 years of experience with the FAA, 19 of which are in the Accounting Area, where he moved up from Imprest Cashier to Supervisor of the Accounting Operations Section. In 2012 he became the Manager of the Central Logistics Service Area.
Keith is widely respected for his analytical thinking, creativity, and ability to work with people at all levels, as well as his dedication to customer service.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics from Lehigh University.
On a personal note Keith has been married to Dr. Cheri Moore for 32 years. Keith and Cheri and have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. He also serves as the Assistant Pastor to a small church in Arlington, TX.
