The A.B. Won Pat International Airport, Guam, in partnership with the FAA, co-hosted the annual Pacific Aviation Directors Workshop in Guam. The workshop was held from Mar 13-15, 2012, at the Westin Resort Guam. This year's theme was "Aviation Safety through International Leadership, Education, and Marketing."

The workshop's geographic area covers Pacific Region airports in the Republic of Palau, the Republic of Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, American Samoa, Guam, Hawaii, and the Northern Mariana Islands. It is widely attended by stakeholders, airline and aviation industry partners, and high level foreign officials, as well as various U.S. government agencies including Department of Interior, U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Weather Service, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Defense, and FAA.
