Dr. Mark Sundahl is the Associate Dean for Administration at Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He was appointed to this position in 2011. Before assuming this responsibility, Dr. Sundahl served as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. He began his affiliation with Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, in 2004 as an assistant professor and then associate professor. Mr. Sundahl's specialization is in Space Law, International Business Transactions, Commercial Law, and Secured Transactions.
In addition to his academic career, Dr. Sundahl has had an active legal practice, first as an associate at Pillsbury Winthrop LLP, San Francisco (2001-2004) in International Transactions and Corporate Law and then with Yormick & Associates (2006-present) in International Transactions and Corporate Law and Aerospace & Defense Practice.
Dr. Sundahl has published widely in the field of Space Law and International Law. He holds a number of professional appointments, including Member, International Institute of Space Law (2006-present); Assistant Executive Secretary, International Institute of Space Law (2010-2012); Member, UNIDROIT Space Working Group for the Cape Town Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment (2005-2008); and Director & Vice-President, Greater Cleveland International Lawyers Group (2005-present). Dr. Sundahl earned his J.D. at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, his Ph.D. in Classics, at Brown University, and his B.A. in Classics, at UCLA.
