The ICO-G1 satellite, built by Space Systems/Loral, is owned and operated by ICO North America, Inc., Reston, Virginia. ICO is the next-generation Hybrid Satellite/Terrestrial Mobile Satellite Service satellite that will provide advanced wireless voice, data and internet services in North America. ICO North America is a subsidiary of ICO Global Communications (Holdings).
