Commercial Space Data - Launch Details

MBSat / Atlas IIIA

The MBSat spacecraft will be owned and operated by Mobile Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) of Japan. It is a three-axis stabilized FS-1300 Bus built by Space Systems/Loral. MBC will use the spacecraft to deliver digital multimedia information services such as CD-quality audio, MPEG-4 video, and data to mobile users throughout Japan. The design life is a minimum of 12 years.
