The Air Traffic Environmental Programs Division is the principal element within the Air Traffic Airspace Management Program responsible for formulating environmental policy related to the National Airspace System. As such, this division identifies and develops methods and procedures that will ensure environmental concerns, as well as economic, legal and technical considerations are all considered in decision-making. This division ensures that a systematic and uniform approach is part of the environmental review process.
