Pilar Madera, Director, System Operations Administration

System Operations Administration responsibilities:

  • Ensures administrative, business, and logistical processes and procedures are established, implemented, and maintained
  • Creates training and performance management plans that promote and support FAA, ATO, and service unit goals
  • Develops human capital plans and requirements to ensure a performance-based workforce
  • Works in conjunction with Strategy and Performance to define requirements for both headquarters and field centric issues
  • Prepares and reviews special reports and presentations directed by the Vice President
  • Serves as the service unit focal point for briefing papers, testimony, reports, and responses to Congress, the office of the Inspector General, and the Administrator
  • Collaborates and provides leadership for cross-organizational communications, Knowledge Services Network (KSN) administration, and Web support activities to provide a consistent online presence, promote people and products, and improve internal business processes
  • Addresses FAA and ATO Web initiatives such as branding and compliance, plain language, and section 508
