Thompson Pass Block 1 is being revised. The July 31st edition of the Alaska Supplement will carry this
change below. Additionally, the graphic for Block 5 of the Turnagain TFR has been updated to reflect more accurately, where the
points are located. The description has not changed, only the graphic is being updated.
The State of Alaska, Department of Transportation are coordinating their Avalanche Control firings with Anchorage ARTCC. TFRs will be established using these coordinated areas and altitudes. At times, AK/DOT will only have an hour or two, for notification purposes, prior to firing.The altitudes and coordinates are listed below.
