|ACS Data Query||The data query service provides users with the ability to search the full set of aeronautical data stored in the ACS. The data query service is an OGC-compliant Web Feature Service (WFS) with complex querying supported by the OGC Filter Encoding Standard (FES) version 2.0. In addition to retrieving the data stored in the database, the WFS standard also supports service discovery operations and operations to manage and store customized queries. Discovery operations provide information on the capabilities of the service and describe the information types that can be queried. Through the WFS, users can create stored queries, view available stored queries, receive descriptions of stored queries, and remove stored queries. |ACS Data Update Notification||The ACS Data Update Notification Service provides a publication/subscription web service for updates to the aeronautical information stored in the ACS. The subscription service leverages the ACS Data Query Service, which supports complex querying, sorting, and filtering of aeronautical data in the ACS. Thus, through this notification service users and system owners can define, for themselves, the information that is relevant to their needs and receive updates on only a user-defined subset of information. Through this service consumers can also define the method by which they desire the data updates to be provided. For example, for systems on the SWIM network, the notification service can leverage the NAS Enterprise Messaging Service (NEMS) and provide the data updates directly to the consumers via the SWIM network. |ACS Feature Portrayal||The Feature Portrayal Service supports representation of the aeronautical feature data stored in the ACS using multiple common and standard symbology formats. The FPS provides data symbolization in a manner that is consistent with the aeronautical charts and other products that are published to support air navigation. The OGC Styled Layer Descriptor (SLD) profile combined with the OGC Symbology Encoding (SE) Specification supports the user-defined symbolization of feature data for the ACS. The OGC SLD profile can be used to extend an OGC WMS or WFS and portray the feature data provided by those services. |ACS Mapping||The data mapping service provides the aeronautical data from the ACS database in a geo-registered display through the use of an OGC-compliant Web Map Service (WMS). In addition to the map provision operation, the WMS interface standard supports two other operations. The first is provision of metadata about the service and the second is an optional capability that provides information about a particular feature shown on a map. The maps from the WMS are provided as layers and these layers can be overlaid and viewed simultaneously. The standard also supports setting the transparency of the map layers to support overlay and simultaneous viewing of multiple maps. The WMS also provides maps as reference layers for interpretation of the locations of the database features. The reference map layers include standard maps such as street maps, satellite maps, and terrain maps. This data would include data such as flight plan data, activations (departures), position updates, arrivals, route changes, converted routes, beacon code assignments, and cancellations. |Flight Data Publication Prototype||The Flight Data Publication Service will be made up of one feature, the Track Information. This feature provides aircraft postion information and time as calcuatlated by the trajectory synthesis algorithm. It also provides ARTCC radar datum and associated time. This radar datum is the postion of the aircraft from an individual radar sweep. Additional radar datum information is provided from the ARTS. Addtional information such as ground speed, altitudes (both reported and assigned), controlling and receiving facility/sector information may also be included. |STARS Alert Data Message||
This service contains the STARS Alert data message currently available as part of data set 2 (AIG300 message) of the STARS to General NAS User Services (GeNUS) interface. For more information the STARS to GeNUS interface, refer to NAS-IC-21050001-01.
Current description for the AIG300 message is as follows: the Alert Data message (AIG300) is used to provide Minimum Safe Altitude Warning (MSAW) and Conflict Alert (CA) data for each associated track to the GeNUS sub-system. The message also covers Mode C Intruder alerts (MCI). This message shall be sent from STARS to GeNUS when an alert condition changes and every AP seconds while an alert is in force. No buffering is performed on Alert messages.

|STARS IMC Status Message||

Current description for the AIG502 GeNUS interface message is as follows: the IMC Status Message (AIG502) is used to provide airport Instrument Meteorological Condition (IMC) status information to GeNUS. One IMC transmission contains multiple IMC status messages. Each transmission may send up to 128 messages. Each status message consists of 7 ASCII characters followed by a pad byte.

|STARS SISO Event Message||
This service contains the STARS SISO Event message currently available as part of data set 3 (AIG500 message) of the STARS to General NAS User Services (GeNUS) interface. For more information the STARS to GeNUS interface, refer to NAS-IC-21050001-01.
Current description for the AIG500 GeNUS interface message is as follows: STARS provides operator Sign-In and Sign-Out event data via SISO event messages. Each SISO transmission may send up to 37 events, and will contain the most recent (design parameter) events, or all the events in the last (design parameter) minutes, whichever is less. A transmission is sent each time there is an event, and every AP seconds when there is no event. The receiving system determines the total number of events in the transmission by the transmission buffer size. Events are sent with the newest event first. Section 220.127.116.11.4 describes how the user system determines which events are new since the last transmission by comparison of sequence numbers.

|STARS Status, Track, and Flight Data Messages||
This service contains the STARS status, track, and flight plan data messages currently available as part of data set 1 (AIG100 and AIG200 messages) of the STARS to General NAS User Services (GeNUS) interface. For further information on the STARS to GeNUS interface, refer to NAS-IC-21050001-01.
Current descriptions for the AIG100 and AIG 200 GeNUS interface messages are as follows: the status message (AIG100) is sent as a Heartbeat message every (AP) seconds. No buffering is performed on status messages. The Track and Flight Plan Data message (AIG200) is used to provide track data for each system track, and flight plan data for each pending and associated flight plan to the GeNUS subsystem. One track and flight plan update is sent for each track and active flight plan during each Label Update Cycle. A label update cycle is (nominally) 5 seconds. |STARS Traffic Count Message||

Current description for the AIG510 GeNUS interface message is as follows: the Traffic Count Message (AIG510) is used to provide traffic count information to GeNUS. One Traffic Count transmission (AIG510) consists of up to 13 traffic count messages. Each message consists of 92 ASCII characters. These event messages include traffic acquisition, track termination, track coast, track coast hand-off, track coast suspend, track coast low approach, airport area, ACID change, and approach switch information.
