Merrill Field Cartee Airspace:
Merrill Field "Cartee Airspace", will be activated for use of Elmendorf
aircraft when approaches/landings on Elmendorf Runway 34 are necessary.
Frequently, aircraft landing at EDF require operations on Runway 16/34. When landing Runway 34, EDF aircraft may be required to enter the MRI Segment. To protect for these operations, aircraft operating to and from Merrill Field will need to remain clear of the airspace in the MRI Segment that lies between Pine Street and Muldoon Road.
