Mild or seasonal asthmatic symptoms 8 All Submit all pertinent medical information and current status report, include duration of symptoms, name and dosage of drugs, and side effects If symptoms are infrequent, mild, have not required hospitalization or steroid medication, and no symptoms in flight – Issue
8 If the applicant otherwise meets the medical standards and currently requires no treatment, the Examiner may Issue. However, a history of frequent severe attacks is disqualifying. Certificate issuance may be possible in other cases. If additional information is obtained, it must be submitted to the FAA.
