Responsibilities
- Develops policy for managing the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) operations by U.S., Canadian, or Mexican operators
- Develops policy for the Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL) program for 14 CFR parts 91 and 125 operators
- Evaluates training for general aviation operations Aviation Safety Inspectors
- Provides advice and oversight of airshows and other aviation events
- Responds to FAA Safety Recommendations from FAA field offices
- Responds to National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Safety Recommendations
