This Safety Analysis and Evaluation Branch has lead responsibility for oversight of comprehensive surveillance, analysis, and evaluation of programs throughout the region, to include:

• Manages regional evaluation programs, conducts evaluations, assesses trends, identifies risks, and provides mitigation strategies when appropriate
• Ensures regional compliance with national and regional programs, policies, standards and procedures.
• Makes recommendations and provides analytical expertise for the regional, branch and field office managers, and other FAA regional and national entities as required
• Serves as focal point and manages the Office Assessment Program and Quality Management System for the division
• Provides expert analytical support around development, implementation and tracking of the Flight Standards Strategic Plan
