The Chicago Aircraft Certification Office (ACO) is a field office in the Small Airplane Directorate.  We manage applications for new aircraft within the geographical area and manage the continued airworthiness of those products.  The Chicago ACO also reviews design and installation data that is submitted by companies and individuals in the geographical area.
