Mark Reisweber is an Engineering Psychologist in the Flight Standards Service, Operations Simulation and Analysis branch (AFS-440). He is responsible for advising the Program Manager and his staff on issues pertaining to human factors and engineering psychology and their impact on safety and operational performance.
Mark began his aviation career in 1981 after graduating from the United States Military Academy. He was trained as an Airborne-Ranger Infantryman and attended flight school at Fort Rucker, Alabama. It was at Fort Rucker where Mark became an Army Aviator. Mark's operational assignments included tactical duties in attack and lift units, he was also a helicopter instructor at the Army flight school. He earned a master’s degree in Engineering Psychology from the University of Illinois. Later Mark was an Assistant Professor at West Point. Mark retired from the United States Army in 2001.
