Appendix B: State and Territory Maps of 2001-2005 NPIAS Airports
Explanation of Maps
The maps contained in Appendix B show the location of existing airports contained in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems. Airports are identified by the airport name. Icons are used to identify the airports as commercial service non primary, primary, reliever, or general aviation. These maps are pictures made from the original maps generated with MapInfo Professional Version 6.5 software. The pictures included here are a lower resolution and require adjustments to your print setup to produce readable copies. Many are produced in landscape mode and need to be printed in landscape. When setting page margins for prints, use the smallest amount your printer will accept. Also, eliminate headers and footers.
The complete list of NPIAS airports is available in Microsoft Excel 2000. This document contains the latitude and longitude in decimal degrees for each airport and will allow generation of NPIAS maps with a suitable mapping software package. See Explanation of Terms and Abbreviations for definitions of terms used in the Excel document.
