The
Runway Safety Program Office goals are to:
-
Develop,
emphasize, and promote a runway safety education and awareness
program for pilots, controllers, pedestrians, vehicles, tug
operators and mechanics taxiing aircraft.
-
Prevent
and/or significantly reduce Category "A and B" runway
incursions through enhanced safety and situational awareness,
airport familiarization and training.
We
hope you’ll visit our site often and help us increase runway safety
awareness - and reach our ultimate objective of eliminating runway
incursions and surface incidents.
Thank
you,
Anna
