REGIONAL
OFFICE OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE AWARD
The Regional Office Outstanding Employee Award
is a peer recognition award presented three times a year by the Regional Administrator.
Recognition from ones peers always has special significance--perhaps because such
awards are seldom expected. Recognition is well earned and sincere when employees single
out and recognize someone from their own rank.
The award cycles are:
January April
May August
September December |
After the nomination cycle closes, a rating sheet
is attached to each nomination, and nomination packages are given to the awards
coordinator in each organization for rating. The awards coordinators return the rated
packages to the Regional Incentive Awards Officer. The Regional Incentive Awards Officer
tallies the ratings, notifies the appropriate individuals, and coordinates the awards
ceremony.
The nominations are rated on commitment, impact
of accomplishment, quality of accomplishment, complexity, and initiative. Each nominee is
rated on a scale of 1 to 5 (highest) for each of these criteria.
OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE
WINNERS RECEIVE A $300 CASH AWARD, A RESERVED PARKING SPACE FOR 4 MONTHS, AND A PLAQUE
THAT WILL BE DISPLAYED IN THE CAFETERIA. THE EMPLOYEE WHO SUBMITTED THE WINNING NOMINATION
ALSO RECEIVES A RESERVED PARKING SPACE.
