Each country in the IFIM has its own main page. There are a series of links in the left navigation bar which connects the user with different types of information important to international travel. The following table gives a brief explanation of each link found on a typical country's page.

Link Explanation
Aeronautical Information This link provides the user with contacts to a country's aeronautical authorities. It also provides information about the Aeronautical Information Services (AIS), Air Traffic Services (ATS), Airports, and Aircraft Entry Requirements.
Consular Information This link takes the user to the U.S. State Department for a look at the Consular Information sheet for the country. Here you will get information about passport and visa requirements, U.S. Consular contacts in the foreign country, and an overview of the country to be visited.
Background Information This link also takes you to the U.S. State Department. This time the user is given a rather thorough briefing on the country. Always interesting, this information can be invaluable in countries with civil unrest.
Health Information This link to the Center for Disease Control provides the traveller with important health information including the immunizations that should be taken before travel.
Intl Av Restrictions This link provides "One-stop shopping for US Government restrictions affecting U.S. international civil aviation." Staying out of hot water is easier that jumping in and getting burned.
Factbook Profile This link takes the user to the Central Intelligence Agency's Factbook briefing on the country.
Civil Aviation This link takes the user to the foreign country's civil aviation website. Many of these sites have links to important flight documents, weather, and other aviation related topics.
Embassy This link takes the user to the the foreign country's embassy website in the United States. A good place to begin when looking to get specific information or visas.
Public Announcement This link to the U.S. State Department provides time critical information about travel in another country. Often reflects safety concerns.
Travel Warning When this State Department link appears on the country page, travel to the country is considered risky. It is very important to comply with the recommendations.
