Aircraft registered in any ICAO contracting state, when engaged ion nonscheduled international flights overflying or landing in Mozambique territory are required to obtain prior permission with seven days advance notification from the National /civil Aviation Office (AFTN: FQHQYAYH; Telegraphic Address: AERONAUTICA MAPUTO; Telex: 6-175 SEAC MO). In any case aircraft shall not enter the airspace without obtaining a permit. 2. The right to overfly does not rule out the obligation of the aircraft to land at any point whenever the authorities may require landing. 3. All international flights through Mozambique territory shall be conducted through the ATS routes network. Details of request are those of the ICAO flight plan (single and repetitive) and in special circumstances, other details may be requested.. 4. Besides the above information, the following information shall be inserted on item 18 of the ICAO flight plan: a. Overflight of scheduled and nonscheduled flights. b. Complete postal and telegraphic address of operator or owner of the aircraft. c. Registration of aircraft and call sign. d. Color(s) and nationality of aircraft. e. Number of crew and passengers. f. Date and time of arrival and departure. g. Purpose of flight. h. Landing of non-scheduled flights. i. Complete postal and telegraphic address of operator or owner of aircraft. j. Type of aircraft. k. Registration of aircraft and call- sign. l. Color(s) and nationality of aircraft. m. Names and nationality (s) of crew member (s) and passenger (s). n. Date and time of arrival at and departure from Mozambique. o. Purpose of flight and mane and address of entity (ies) to be contacted in Mozambique, or nature of cargo, if any. 5. Passport and visa required. Visa must be obtained in advance or tourist visa can be obtained in some borders in Mozambique. Multiple-entry visas valid 3 months
from date of issuance, and single- and double-entry visas valid for 2 months, require 1 application form, 2 photos, $20 (single-entry) or $40 (double- or multiple-entry) processing fee for 2 weeks or
an additional $20 fee for 3 day service, and a letter (from company or individual) giving detailed itinerary and address of where visitor is staying. For more information, contact the Embassy of the
