Aircraft Entry Requirements

Permission

1. All private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft overflying or landing for any purpose must obtain prior permission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Togo, Lome, Togo (Telegraphic Address: AVIATION CIVILE, LOME; Telex: 5113 MINCOM TOGO). All requests must be submitted at least eight days in advance to receive a response prior to departure.

2. All requests must include:

a. Type and registry of the aircraft.

b. Name/address of operator.

c. Origin of flight.

d. Date/time of arrival.

e. Reason for flight.

f. Name/nationality of pilot-in-command.

g. Number of crew.

h. Number of passengers.

i. Nature and quantity of freight.

j. Type, and amount and destination of cargo.

k. The name/address of the originator of clearance request must also be provided.

l. Name/address of recipient of freight. The flight will be undertaken only when permission is received.

Corporate Aircraft Restraints

No internal constraints reported.

Special Notices

Aircraft coming from or flying to South Africa may neither overfly nor land in Togo.
