INITIAL GREETING SYSTEM INSTRUCTIONS
Please press 1 to listen to instructions for retrieving recorded weather information; Press 2 for instructions on using our Fast File Flight Plan recorder; OR Press # to return to the main menu.
SYSTEM INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCESSING RECORDED WEATHER INFORMATION
Here are the instructions for retrieving recorded weather information:
Select option 2 from the Main Menu;
A list of the weather recording numbers will be provided to you. Enter the appropriate weather recording number at any time during the recording. When you select the weather recording number, you will hear an announcement that says, "Please hold while I transfer your call." You will then hear the weather recording that you have selected. After hearing the weather recording, you can press # to return to the main menu, #2 to return to the TIBS menu, or 0 to speak to a preflight briefer. If you wait and do nothing after hearing your selected weather recording, you will be transferred to a preflight briefer.
SYSTEM INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE FLIGHT PLAN RECORDER
Here are the instructions for using the Fast File Flight Plan recorder:
Select option 3 from the Main Menu. You will be given two options. "If you are filing a flight plan with a departure of less than one hour please press 1 now. If you are filing a flight plan with a departure of more than one hour please press 2 now. You will be transferred and then hear instructions for leaving a flight plan followed by an announcement that says: "record at the tone, when finished, hang up to deliver the message or press the
# key for additional options." You can then record your message. When you have finished recording your message, hang up. You can now press #3 to file your Fast File Flight Plan or press # to return to the Main Menu.
FAST FILE GREETING
Please file your flight plan slowly and in the order on the FAA flight plan form. Also, please state whether your flight plan is for a domestic or an international flight. Please include a telephone number with area code where you may be reached prior to departure. If your flight plan is incomplete and you cannot be reached, your flight plan will not be filed.
Before filing your flight plan you can study all the data in conjunction with appropriate charts and work out plausible routes, altitudes, arrival times, etc. Finally, using the Fast File menu, you can call back and file your flight plan.
If you choose, you can file your flight plan with a pilot weather briefer, especially if you have a question regarding the route or other information.
