New York AIFSS provides the Telephone Information Briefing Service (TIBS), which includes current weather recordings and other pertinent information, from 0600 to 2200 local.  However, recording 11 is begun at 0500 local. Press 2 from the Main Menu to access the weather recording menu listed below. The TIBS are provided as a preliminary weather briefing, which will enable a pilot to make a GO or NO GO decision.
