This letter cancels New York Automated Flight Service Station (New York AIFSS) Letter to Airmen 97-1.

This booklet contains information about the services provided by Flight Service in general, and New York AIFSS in particular.

New York AIFSS is a 24-hour facility providing pilots (of all levels of experience) with the weather and air traffic services they require.

This booklet only touches on the services offered by New York AIFSS.  A more detailed explanation and tour are available at almost any time.

In addition, New York AIFSS offers a Pilot-Plug-In Program, where pilots can sit with a specialist, listen-in to pilot weather briefings, discuss the services available, and receive a tour of the facility.
