and Navigation (ARN) |

The
ARN organization is responsible for requirements management
of the solution implementation phase of the lifecycle acquisition
management. ARN transforms the previous analyses (mission
analysis and investment analysis) into the material, hardware,
software, or service and capability that will perform the
mission. We ensure the allocation and traceability of the
fRD requirements are carried down to the subsequent detail
specifications. ARN divisions work closely with ATS stakeholders
and the product team to ensure implementation of operationally
effective and maintainable solutions in the following communication
and navigation domains:

| Navigation
Division (ARN-100)
|
|
The
Navigation Division is responsible for ensuring that navigation
solutions are developed to meet National Airspace System requirements
are implemented on time, within budget, and within performance
expectations. ARN-100 also ensures that solutions meet the
originally stated need, and provide the expected benefits
to our stakeholders. Programs include ground and satellite
based navigation systems.

| Communications
Division (ARN-200)
|
|
The
Communications Division is responsible for ensuring that solutions
developed to meet National Airspace System requirements for
communications service are implemented on time, within budget,
and within performance expectations. ARN-200 also ensures
that communications solutions meet the originally stated need,
and provide the expected benefits to our stakeholders. Programs
include air/ground and ground/ground communications, telecommunications,
voice switching & recording and digital voice communications.
