OPERATION SUNSHINE

WHEN: On Tuesday, October 24, Miami Tower will host Operation Sunshine from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. Pilots and others from the aviation community are invited to attend.
                        
WHERE: AT MIAMI TOWER
                          6301 NW 20th STREET (SEE DIRECTIONS BELOW)

Activities will include: Discussion of Runway Incursions, Mid-Air Collision Hazards, and Use of the ATC system.

Tours of the tower and the radar control room

A chance to "play controller" in the safety of the simulation laboratory

Seating is extremely limited, so make your reservation early. You must receive a confirmation in order to be assured that you will be accommodated. Confirmed attendees will receive a reminder 14 days in advance of the event, and we ask that you cancel your reservation if you are unable to use it.

Directions to the Tower:

From the Palmetto Expressway: Exit to NW 25th Street eastbound; turn right at NW 67th Avenue (Ludlam Road); turn left at NW 22nd Street; Tower will be on your right, enter through east gate.

From NW 36th Street: Turn south on NW 72nd Avenue (Milam Dairy Road); turn left at NW 25th Street, follow directions above.

From SR 836: Exit to Palmetto Expressway northbound, follow directions above.
