Not only does Washington National move and protect the lives of more than 43,500 passengers daily, but we also assist pilots in avoidance of prohibited airspace (P56) over Washington, DC. "Pilots are reminded of the two prohibited areas north of the field." "Remain over the river to avoid the prohibited area."
