ECHOSTAR V / Atlas IIAS

Lockheed Martin's Atlas IIAS successfully launched the ECHOSTAR V satellite, on September 23, 1999, at 2:02 am EDT from Cape Cananveral. Payload separation occurred at 2:29 am EDT. The ECHOSTAR V satellite will provide direct broadcast services to the U. S. including Hawaii and Alaska.
