AMC-11 / Atlas IIAS

AMC-11 is a communications satellite built by Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems of Newtown, PA. AMC-11 satellite consists of 24 C-Band Transponders and 3 C-Band Beacon Transmitters for communications. The AMC-11 satellite will provide telecommunications coverage for the Contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, and Caribbean. The AMC-11 satellite is owned and will be operated by SES Americom, based in Princeton, NJ. SES Americom is a wholly owned subsidiary of SES Global S.A. headquartered in Luxembourg.
