SUBJECT: Dedication of New DSR and HOCSR Systems
WHAT: The FAA's new Display System Replacement (DSR) for controller work stations, and the operational Host and Oceanic Computer System Replacement Program (HOCSR) at the Houston en route center will be dedicated in ceremonies starting at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22.
WHO: Monte Belger, the FAA's associate administrator for air traffic services, will participate with FAA officials including Clyde DeHart, Southwest regional administrator; Doug Murphy, air traffic manager for the region, several airline and union officials and others involved in the modernization of the national air space system.
WHEN: 11 a.m. media tours of the DSR controller work stations.
1 p.m. ceremonies begin in Houston Center conference rooms.
WHERE: Houston Air Route Center is located at 16600 JFK Blvd. on the airport.
