Pilots, airlines, federal, state officials, air traffic controllers to participate in two-day meetings to discuss incursions

WHAT: FAA Administrator Jane Garvey has given top priority to reducing runway incursions and incidents and has launched a series of regional workshops to develop this safety plan. The Dallas/Fort Worth area is included in this series and will be held two days — Wednesday and Thursday, May 17-18 — at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Downtown Fort Worth. Other workshops are being held in Kansas City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, Anchorage, New York, Chicago and Atlanta. Results of the regional meetings will be shared at a national runway safety meeting in June.
