Participants will include airport delegates from a five-state area comprising the Southwest Region — Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico. Experts from the region and Washington headquarters of the FAA will be on hand to assist airport delegates as they comply with federal regulations.
Rick Etter, from the office of Airports community and environmental needs division, will be principal speaker. He is the FAA's national expert on land issues.
There is no registration fee, FAA officials said, but those planning to attend should call Dean McMath at phone number (817) 222-5617. Naomi Saunders, airports division manager in the region, will host the workshop.
