Gate-to-Gate Demonstration Flights
2010:
The first transatlantic AIRE gate-to-gate flights were flown in April 2010. Both flights were considered a great success. These flights operated under the NextGen International Air Traffic Interoperability Program (signed March 3, 2010):

- April 6, 2010
- Flight successfully demonstrated the following procedures:
- Limited engine taxi out (2 of 4 engines)
- Continuous climb to cruise altitude
- Vertical optimization
- Cruise climb
- Tailored Arrival into Miami
- Minimal delay taxi to gate
American Airlines 63 from Paris to Miami
- Boeing 767-300

- Continuous climb to cruise altitude
- Cruise climb
- Tailored Arrival into Miami
- Minimal delay taxi to gate
