Designee Applications – Aircraft Certification Service
Qualified Designee Applicants for Designated Engineering Representative (DER), Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR), Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR)-Manufacturing, and Organizational Designated Airworthiness Representative (ODAR)-Manufacturing must complete an application package per Order 8100.8, Chapter 4 and Appendix 1.
- Send DER application to the Aircraft Certification Office (ACO) in your geographic area.
- Send DMIR and DAR-Manufacturing, and ODAR-Manufacturing applications to the Manufacturing Inspection Office (MIO) in your geographic area.
