A new version of AMCS (Release 2.1.0.0) will be available on
October 1, 2007. This release will introduce a new Pre-exam Report functionality which provides a summary of the applicant's medical record. This functionality is available for MedXPress applicants only. The Medication Entry screen has been enhanced to provide a more user-friendly interface. We have provided the release notes for you convenience.

On August 22, 2007 the Aerospace Medical Education Division lost a longtime, beloved employee. Gail Gentry, our distribution clerk for many years, passed away unexpectedly.

Users of GE/Marquette electrocardiographs are now able to transmit their records into the FAA ECG System database. Please note that as of
June 1, 2007 transmission of ECGs from the GE/Marquette non-supported electrocardiographs will no longer be accepted either by modem or fax.

GE/Marquette non-supported units include the Mac 6,8,12,15 PC, VU (with external modem). These electrocardiographs use the 1-405-954-1977 phone number, which will not be functional beginning June 1, 2007. If you have any questions, please call the Mortara Technical Support Hotline
