2000 Previous Updates
08/14/2000 Please do not attempt to enter examinations that have not been completed into the AMCS/DIWS system. If the physical exam itself is terminated before completion (not the data entry of the exam), you should mail the hard copy to the Aerospace Medical Certification Division with a note in box 60 explaining why the exam wasn't completed. You will not be able to electronically submit the exam because the AMCS/DIWS system will not accept incomplete information. This is the only reason an exam should not be submitted over the Internet system.
08/17/2000 Please do not use quotation marks ( " ) or equal signs (=) when typing text in the data fields of the Online exam form. It can cause the information entered into the system to be lost. Thank you.
05/31/2000 The AMCS/DIWS system does not allow a Certificate Number to be entered into the database more than once. Submitting the wrong Certificate Number can hinder future exam input not only for your office, but for other offices as well. Please verify the Certificate/Form Number you have entered before submitting the exam.
03/31/2000 Please do not use quotation marks ( " ) when typing text in the data fields of the Online exam form. It can cause the information you are entering into the system to be lost. Thank you.
03/14/2000 If you need to make an exam corrections or have questions about the system, you may contact the AMCS Hotline at our e-mail address. Our e-mail address is as follows: 9-amc-aam-certification@mmacmail.jccbi.gov
01/10/2000 Regarding vision requirements: Please use the following codes; If an airman is not tested, use 777 in the uncorrected vision fields. If an airman is blind in one eye, use 999 in the uncorrected vision field.
Regarding Pilot time: Use EST. as the default if the airman has not specified "logged" or "estimated". If the pilot time is recorded as "0", leave the numeric field blank, and choose N/A in the pop up window.
