Please read the current accreditation statement from the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) before proceeding. This statement supercedes any accreditation statement contained within the training application.
This activity, Clinical Aviation Physiology Review for AME's (CAPAME), has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 6 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. AAFP accreditation begins October 1, 2010. Term of approval is for one year(s) from this date, with option for yearly renewal.
CAPAME takes approximately 5-6 hours to complete. Use of CAPAME requires that you create an account using a valid email address and your assigned pseudo AME number. Your pseudo AME number is comprised of four digits and an alpha character.
CAPAME Registration/enrollment Instructions
I understand the Clinical Aerospace Physiology Review for Aviation Medical Examiners (CAPAME) course is only to be used as a prerequisite for a Basic Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) Seminar or for Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credit. It is not an acceptable substitute for AME refresher training.
