Designee Recurrent Seminar Program - Online Course Topics

Electrical:
The Recurrent CBT for Electrical DERs and ODA UMs is available through the Designee Registration System. This curriculum will be available through December 31, 2013.

You must complete each Electrical topic in order to received credit for the Electrical Module. The Electrical courses are as follows:

• FAA27200041 Electrical: Electronic Flight Bag
• FAA27200042 Electrical: Certification of Aircraft for Flight in Icing Conditions
• FAA27200043 Electrical: Systems Aspects of Certification
• FAA27200044 Electrical: Rechargeable Lithium Battery Systems for Aerospace Applications
• FAA27200045 Electrical: Surveillance Update
• FAA27200046 Electrical: Software and Airborne Electronic Hardware Aspects of Certification
• FAA27200047 Electrical: Aircraft Systems Cyber Security Awareness for Engineering Designees/Advisors

Structures:
The Recurrent CBT for Structures DERs and ODA UMs is available through the Designee Registration System. This curriculum will be available through December 31, 2013.

You must complete each Structures topic in order to received credit for the Structures Module. The Structures courses are as follows:

• FAA27200051 Structures: Finite Element Modeling and Analysis Validation
• FAA27200052 Structures: Composite Safety and Certification Initiatives
• FAA27200055 Structures: Cabin Safety
• FAA27200053 Structures: Fatigue Management of Small Airplanes
• FAA27200054 Structures: Flutter - Aeroelastic Dynamic Instability

Designees with Electrical and Structures delegations who have not met their recurrent technical training requirements for this year may do so by taking the on-line course by December 31, 2012. To register for this training, go to Designee Registration System.

Powerplant:
Beginning in 2013 Powerplant will no longer be included as an 'in person' seminar. More information will be made available at a later date. The following is a list of the courses that will be included in the Powerplant Recurrent CBT.
