Pittsburgh (PIT) Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) serves the aviation community at Pittsburgh International Airport and 60 satellite facilities within a 30 mile radius.

The control tower, which stands almost 240 feet high, operates around the clock, 365 days a year. The men and women employed here work for the Department of Transportation / Federal Aviation Administration.

For current air traffic delay information or traffic count activity, visit the Operational section of the website.

Pilots and other air traffic service users please take a few minutes to provide feedback via our on-line Quality of Service Questionnaire.

Pilots interested in finding out what procedures may affect their next flight into PIT airspace should visit the RIAT and Letters To Airmen links.

Please feel free to explore our website and explore the exciting world of air traffic, and aviation in general.
