Assistant Administrator for Communications

Bridgett FreyBridgett Frey is the FAA Assistant Administrator for Communications in the Office of Communications. She is the agency's spokesperson for media relations. She advises the FAA Administrator, Deputy Administrator and the agency’s senior leadership on communication strategies, policies and programs across the agency. Ms. Frey's office ensures that agency communications are aligned with the FAA's strategic safety mission.

Before joining the FAA, Ms. Frey spent over a decade working in the U.S. Congress, serving in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate as communications director for Senator Chris Van Hollen and the House Budget Committee. In this capacity, she led strategic communications across a series of complex policy issues, ranging from transportation, to budget and tax policy, to foreign affairs. Additionally, she has extensive experience working with House and Senate leadership.

Ms. Frey has also worked in the private sector, most recently as the head of communications at Uniswap Labs. There, she established the company's first in-house communications function, overseeing all brand, product, executive, internal and policy communications.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the State University of New York College at Geneseo and a Master's degree in Public Administration from The George Washington University.
